On the fourth or fifth Sunday of the month, we celebrate Communion, that is, the Lord’s Supper. This is a very special remembering of Jesus’ death and resurrection as we eat bread and drink grape juice (yes, our church does not use wine).
On the third Sunday of the month, we change up our format, meeting in the (smaller) Fellowship Hall, interacting more informally with a bit of teaching, coffee and meeting in small groups for discussion and prayer. We’re trying to create a space to grow in relationship with each other as we learn about God.I’m attaching two photos from Connections Sunday.
From time to time, we have lunch together after church. We eat together, share news, celebrate milestones, have discussions. It’s great to be together!
I’m attaching photos of congregational lunches.
From time to time, we hold an Alpha course. The Alpha Course is a once a week group that runs for 10-12 weeks, where space is created for people to ask questions and explore about life, faith and God.
