Who We Are

We are a small but vibrant church, with an active and engaging congregational life! Here are some highlights of our life together.

In addition to worship and teaching on Sunday mornings, we like to be together!

Care Groups

Methodists have met in small groups for mutual encouragement since the beginning of Methodism! On a regular basis, we meet in small groups or Care Groups for study, prayer and encouragement. Some meet in the daytime and some in the evening, some at the church building and some in homes.

We have an active men’s ministry, meeting for men’s breakfast once per month, and informally.

Shop Nite

We have occasional women’s ministry events.

Our seniors ministry, New Horizons, has not met during the pandemic, but stay tuned for future events!

Children and Youth

We love kids! Our main children’s ministry happens on Sundays.

We partner with Young Life to reach and encourage youth. Young Life runs Club meetings and Campaigners (Bible study) weekly during the school year. During the pandemic, a Wyldlife group (gr. 6-8) was started in connection with our church.

Being Together

We love to gather together to eat, pray, care and celebrate! The pandemic forced us to find new ways to gather for a couple of years, but we think that there is no substitute for in-person interaction. This summer and last fall, we had a church camping trip at Shuswap Lake.

We have congregational lunches on occasion. These are times of celebrating and eating together, sharing information and getting to know one another.

Connection Sunday is a new format we are trying out on the third Sunday of the month. Instead of meeting in the sanctuary, we gather in the fellowship hall for a short time together, including some teaching, and then disperse in small groups for discussion and prayer. This format allows us to connect more personally than we usually do on Sunday mornings.
