We are glad you are here to worship with us today!
May you sense the presence of God in our midst today.
We have Sunday school for children up to grade 6.
It is Connie Alger’s last Sunday with us. Connie has served our church for nearly 3 years, mostly in the role of our Director of Neighbourhood Engagement, but also covering a sabbatical, helping with administration, and generally supporting our board and ministries in a variety of ways. We will miss her but celebrate the new position she will be beginning at her own church as Adult Ministry Director. Thank you, God for Connie, and thank you, Connie, for serving with us.
Free Methodist Centennial Chapel voted unanimously to merge with Freedom Church in the special Society Meeting on May 20, 2025! Praise God for his guidance, for faith and for unity. Let’s continue to pray for Pastor Danny and for the boards of both congregations for wisdom going forward, and God’s guidance and renewal.

Prayer Requests:
- Pray for Pastor Danny and Alison as they make plans for the next steps in leadership as Kamloops Free Methodist and Freedom church have announced their ‘engagement’. Pray for the two congregations during this time as we get to know each other, building relationships and making plans for the future of the churches together.
- Pray for our efforts to reach out in love in our neighbourhood, may our community feel God’s presence and their hearts will be drawn to Him. (Student Café, Young Life, Caring Closet, and community rentals)
- Pray for places of war and conflict in our world today. We pray for the Christians in these areas to be steadfast, to serve boldly, and to be a voice for peace. We pray for those that have lost loved ones and homes, may they sense the love and comfort of our Heavenly Father.
- For those members of our church community who are currently facing health challenges or those grieving the loss of loved ones. Pray for God’s presence, healing, peace, patience and support for their families.
